Ministries & Groups

Our parish family thrives because of the people who share their time and talents. Whether you love to sing, cook, teach, or simply lend a hand, there is a place for you at St. Michael’s.

Church Choir

Our choir leads the congregation in the beautiful hymns of the Orthodox liturgical tradition, singing in both Ukrainian and English. Rehearsals take place before services, and no prior choral experience is required. New voices are always welcome.

Sisterhood

The parish sisterhood is the heart of our fellowship life. The sisters organize community meals, coordinate support for parishioners in need, prepare food for parish fundraisers and festivals, and support charitable causes throughout the Tampa Bay area.

Church School

Religious education for children and young adults, covering the fundamentals of the Orthodox faith, church history, and Ukrainian heritage. Classes are held on Sundays during the school year, and all children of the parish are encouraged to participate.

Building & Grounds

Dedicated volunteers help maintain our church property and grounds, from seasonal landscaping to building upkeep. This hands-on ministry ensures a welcoming environment for worship and community gatherings.

Parish Council

Our Parish Council, led by Council President Victoria Pechenizka, oversees the administrative life of the parish. The council works together with Fr. Stephen to guide parish finances, plan events, and support the spiritual mission of our community.
